Robo-Comm

The Robo-Comm is a computer vision guided robotic commutator that estimates heading direction and position of the rodent in a behavioral arena and automatically adjust commutator rotation to alleviate wire entanglement.

  • Embedded camera for behavioral imaging

  • Realtime decoding of position and heading direction

  • Automated wire de-entangling

  • Wireless joystick for remote manual operation

  • Intuitive graphic user interface

  • Supports long-term fully autonomous automated wire adjustments
