Role Overview
The Electrical Design Engineer will design, develop, and optimize electrical systems for our next-generation robotic platforms. This role involves working closely with mechanical engineers, software developers, and scientists to ensure seamless integration of electronics with automation systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and wiring harnesses for robotic systems.
Select and integrate sensors, actuators, and control electronics for precision microinjection applications.
Collaborate on embedded systems development, including motor control and signal processing.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and support regulatory documentation.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during prototyping and production.
Maintain detailed documentation of designs and revisions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Experience with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad) and circuit simulation.
Knowledge of motor drivers, power electronics, and signal conditioning.
Familiarity with embedded programming (C/C++) and microcontroller platforms.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Skills
Experience with robotics or automation systems.
Understanding of machine vision hardware integration.
Knowledge of compliance standards (CE, UL) for lab equipment.
